She shall give birth to a son. You shall name him Jesus, for it is he who shall save his people from their sins.

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and shall give birth to a son. They shall call his name Immanuel," which is, being interpreted, "God with us."

Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of King Herod, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, "Where is he who is born King of the Jews? For we saw his star in the east, and have come to worship him."

They, having heard the king, went their way; and behold, the star, which they saw in the east, went before them, until it came and stood over where the young child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceedingly great joy.

They came into the house and saw the young child with Mary, his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Opening their treasures, they offered to him gifts: gold, frankincense, and myrrh.

Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. When he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was hungry afterward.

But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God's mouth.'"

He said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men."

Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called children of God.

You are the light of the world. A city located on a hill can't be hidden.

for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.

See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they?

But seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.

Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.

If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give good things to those who ask him!

"Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.

But Jesus, turning around and seeing her, said, "Daughter, cheer up! Your faith has made you well." And the woman was made well from that hour.

Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest indeed is plentiful, but the laborers are few.'

Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.

He set another parable before them, saying, 'The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took, and sowed in his field, which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.'

Then Jesus said to his disciples, 'If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.'

He was changed before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.

He said to them, 'Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.'

For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the middle of them.

Looking at them, Jesus said, 'With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'

The multitudes who went in front of him, and those who followed, kept shouting, "Hosanna to the son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!"

All things, whatever you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Jesus said to him, 'You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and great commandment. A second likewise is this, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'

But he who is greatest among you will be your servant.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

His lord said to him, 'Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a few things, I will set you over many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.'

The King will answer them, 'Most certainly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'

About the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, 'Eli, Eli, lima sabachthani?' That is, 'My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?'

He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.
