Manuscripts & Textual Witnesses
Exceptionally well–preserved in Greek manuscripts. Papyrus 46 (c. 200 CE) contains this verse nearly identical to later manuscripts. Codex Sinaiticus and Vaticanus (350 CE) show no variations. The verb 'metamorphousthe' (be transformed) appears consistently across all textual traditions. Over 5,800 Greek manuscripts of the New Testament contain this passage with virtually no variation. The only minor variants involve word order, which doesn't affect meaning in Greek.
