2 Corinthians
- Corinthians 2:2for he says, "At an acceptable time I listened to you, in a day of salvation I helped you." Behold, now is the acceptable time. Behold, now is the day of salvation.
- Corinthians 2:3-4Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
- Corinthians 2:5throwing down imaginations and every high thing that is exalted against the knowledge of God and bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ,
- Corinthians 2:9He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me.
- Corinthians 2:11Finally, brothers, rejoice. Be made complete. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
- Corinthians 2:14Now thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and reveals through us the sweet aroma of his knowledge in every place.
- Corinthians 2:15Now thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift!
- Corinthians 2:16Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day.
- Corinthians 2:17Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
- Corinthians 2:18But we all, with unveiled face seeing the glory of the Lord as in a mirror, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.
- 2 Corinthians 3:17Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
- 2 Corinthians 4:14knowing that he who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus, and will present us with you.
- 2 Corinthians 4:16Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward person is decaying, yet our inward person is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is for the moment, works for us more and more exceedingly an eternal weight of glory, while we don't look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.
- 2 Corinthians 5:7for we walk by faith, not by sight.
- 2 Corinthians 5:14For the love of Christ constrains us; because we judge thus: that one died for all, therefore all died. He died for all, that those who live should no longer live to themselves, but to him who for their sakes died and rose again.
- 2 Corinthians 5:20We are therefore ambassadors on behalf of Christ, as though God were entreating by us: we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
- 2 Corinthians 9:6Remember this: he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly. He who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
- 2 Corinthians 9:7Let each man give according as he has determined in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
- 2 Corinthians 9:10Now may he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food, supply and multiply your seed for sowing, and increase the fruits of your righteousness,
- 2 Corinthians 13:14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, God's love, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen.
